Daniel De Rossi Jones spent his day helping Expert-Exchange sponsor two children for an education at an English school. Unlike in many countries, school is not a guarantee Private English schools in Cambodia are a privilege that many children can not afford. We found two very gifted children and decided to enroll them in an English school with the agreement that they have good attendance and are eager to learn, Expert-Exchange will continue to sponsor their fee's as long as they meet this criteria (which they will!). English school maximizes their future chances of getting a good job one day and sustainably coming out of poverty for their generation.
Our local Tuk Tuk also volunteered his time for this project. The Mother of the two children we put in school joined us today. This project will be an ongoing project and we hope to get more children from other villages enrolled. We pledge to keep these two children in school with your support as long as their attendance is good. Expert-Exchange will get monthly emails with their attendance and progress, along with checking in each week personally.
Expert-Exchange would like to request funding assistance for further projects like this. We have provided the break down of costs below. The biggest expense is the enrollment (uniforms, books, school supplies). We will conduct due diligence and monitor their attendance and progress, get monthly updates from the school and check on them personally (weekly) at school. If you or anyone you know is a frugal donor who would like to enable a child's education for the equivalent cost of a night out, send me an email via our Contact page. Your gift can change numerous lives. Thank you!
School Fee breakdown: Admin fee $15, Books $6, Uniform (2) $22, 1 month of school $18
